It was released to the internet by the MP3 group KAOS (Kill All Organized Sound) on Christmas Eve of 1998 as a present. Okay, here's the story on Love's Secret Demise. There's a guy who works for Brainwashed (www.brainwashed.com) who shall remain nameless. He taped two Coil items for another person, who shall also remain nameless. The person who got the tapes in the first place said this person from Brainwashed works in close contact with Coil (which they do) and that the material on the tapes was exclusive Coil material. KAOS was given these tapes years later to copy and did so immediately. The quality on these recordings leaves a lot to be desired. There's a lot of muffling as well as distortion from it being recorded too loud from the source. It's for this reason that this bootleg was convert to a 256 format for maximum quality on the playback. Not much is known about these recordings. One is a full album of unreleased material, this is the other item. It appears to be some form of a remixed version of the Love's Secret Domain album. Most of it is indentical to the versions on Love's Secret Domain, but there is some difference. At first it was thought it was just some DJ re-mixing the album, but there's one problem. The versions of Further Back And Faster are completely different from anything that appears on the original album and much more oriented around the background samples. There's also the very out of place inclusion of Scope. Because all of the tracks on this release fade into each other, the item was converted to MP3 as one single track, so as to protect the integrity of the music upon playback. greets to : The staff of Brainwashed, the greatest web site on the planet, who are not in any way to blame for this release.
